Our Toddler Program is offered year round. It is based on the Montessori Method of education and its philosophy.
The Toddler Program accepts ages from 15 months to 3 years old.
The Toddler Program provides a nurturing educational experience fostering independence, language development and motor movement. Our environment specifically meets the needs of each and every child. Children learn by repetition, exploring and doing. Their natural sense of wonder is encouraged by exploring their natural world around them and applying that newfound discovery in their prepared classroom environment. The program offers an environment rich in oral language, each child has the opportunity to increase their receptive and expressive language throughout the day in conversation, songs, stories, activities, during meal time and outdoor play. During this critical developmental time children also engage in practical life exercises that develop their fine movement skills, eye hand coordination, concentration as well as developing respect and independence in the care of self and others. The children learn to respect each other and to interact by building social relationships – sharing and caring.
